Faibairn looks at basic barrier that prevents students from learning and mastering another language. In this source, she notes that the subconscious belief that English provides a standard format and structure for other languages to express ideas and thought. Therefore, the new learners usually attempt to integrate the new language into English structure, which may not yield success in the process of learning a new language. This source shall be important in my research as it also shows how to easily understand and learn a new language. It is imperative that learner gets exposure to simple means of memorizing and learning the new language syntax without taking the perspective of English language. The case studies and research that have been referenced in this journal make this source a credible source of information.

Smith, Michael Sharwood, and Christopher N. Candlin provide an up-to-date study and analysis of the theory of acquiring a second language. They analyze the emergence of new ideas in the area of language study and assist to identify the influence of these ideas on the individual learner. One of the interesting findings in this study is the fact that each learner must usually rely on the theories provided on this book to enhance their opportunity and ability to learn new languages. Such interesting facts shall help me to offer solutions in my research. The authors also have a lot of authority in this field thus making the source credible and a primary source of information.

According to Stevenson and Liu, the Web 2.0 concept has been analyzed and discussed with enthusiasm and trepidation. Some studies define Web 2.0 technology as a collaborative sphere where the users have the chance contribute to the rising knowledge base by helping to develop the Web 2.0 tools and taking part in the online community. In the past period, social sites were often used for non-educational purposes. However, the emergence of Web 2.0 technology has become a game change through revolutionizing the understanding of the critical role of web-based technology in creating collaborations and sharing contents among online users in the process of learning foreign language. This source has enough content that shall be critical in the development of my research paper.
