Research Question: To what degree do electric cars reduce climate change?
Research question evaluation
· This question effectively addresses my topic of interest and incites my thoughts and opinions.
· The question is also easily researchable based on the fact that that it is a global phenomenon.
· The type of information that I require to answer the question include:
· Statistics on the environmental footprint of electric cars a compared to fossil cars
· Statistics on the potential reduction of emissions of electric cars
· Information about the environment elements of electric cars
· The information of if the electric car would single-handedly/alone reduce climate change
· the information of the cost incurred for a government to implement the usage of electric fully
· The scope for the information is reasonable as recent or updated articles, including books and online sources, provide information regarding the topic.
· Based on the scope and type of information given or required, my question is okay. It is not too general because it applies one suggested way of climate reduction-electric cars, and not too narrow as it has not specified on the impacted geographical region.
· The sources that will have the type of information needed to answer the question include Online sources like eBooks and academic websites as well as journals
· These sources are accessible on the environmental section of the school library as well as through internet search engines like the google scholar
· Given the responses from the questions, I would deduce that I have a quality research question that is answerable through conducting a thorough research.
