The stolen party

I have understood the article because of the author gave informative symbolism to define the character class social. The author represents information by gather attention on the kitchen because, it`s so important even before the story begin. I have learned by the author symbolized related between Rousara and her role to be as servant and otherwise, the monkey in the kitchen was tricking Rousara to believed that she`s in a kitchen because she wants to be. “As soon as she arrived she went straight to the kitchen to see if the monkey was there. (Heker 315).” The kitchen is place to prepare all kinds of food and drinks during the story was representative. The author has made this symbolism to compares the party to the social class, and how the rich people are on one side and the poorer people are on the opposite side.in addition the author was showing that`s Rousara informs to be helper although, she was privileged thinks because that`s Senora Ines trust her and liked her. By the fact that no other children were allowed in the kitchen and, Rousara was the only servant at party. “You yes, but not the others, they`re much too boisterous, they might break something (Heker 316).” The author used another symbolic element that illustrates the social class is how the monkey as like Rousara and the both are being used for same purpose. The monkey was kept in kitchen by cage waiting for entertain children and Rousara has to go in and out of the kitchen which`s kind of invisible cage by her role including handle the jug of orange juice and serving hot dogs , passing out cake. “Carefully she entered the kitchen and there she saw it: deep in thought, inside it`s cage (Heker 316).” The author also shows that symbolic of “two bills” this startling occurrence, I found myself unconsciously shaking head. In my opinion, this is symbolic uses for surprising us and describe the wealth and power of Senora Ines further, Rousara and her service can be bought and paid. Finally, the author uses the monkey to symbolize the differences between Rosaura and the other children at the party. It also helps us understand that Rosaura, like the monkey, is in a cage although hers is figurative and not literal.
