1. Sumerians- The invented the first form of writing, number system, the first wheeled vehicle, sundried bricks and farming. This is important because it taught the people hot to communicate and learning numbers but also provide for their families.
2. Egyptians- Help contribute building pyramids, templets and monuments. It was important because it was model for the civilization that paid the government officials and workers.
3. Assyrians- The contributed the strength of the military men by the use of weapons. I really don't agree because they could over power other out of anything but more like strong arm.
4. Persian- They contributed Zoroastrianism good people rewarded and bad people punished. I agree because no one should be rewarded in doing wrong because they will continue to do wrong just to get rewarded.

The most important contribution made by the Sumerians were political which helped shaped the culture and architectural aspect of their time. The Sumerians were first developed in the southern part of Mesopotamia also known as Sumer. Mesopotamia was part of the "Fertile Crescent" which is known for its rich soils, technological innovations, including writing, the wheel, agriculture, and the use of irrigation. There were priests and rulers who invented ways to take authority over the people who lived in cities reliant on grain agriculture and irrigation. Also importantly, the Sumerians invented a form of writing known as cuneiform. This writing was used as a way for the higher ups to keep track of people and goods. Overall the Sumerians developed a unique system.
The Egyptian culture and traditions were a huge part of their contribution to the Ancient Near East. They carried their traditions with them when they established an empire or engaged in trade. Invaders and newcomers immediately adapted to their culture/traditions as well. Once a year the Nile River would flood which would bring fertile soil and moisture for farming. Because of these rich soils the Egyptians produced an annual agricultural surplus which helped sustain a growing, prosperous population.
The Assyrians contributed a lot towards the development of the first actual empire which included the building of towns, palaces, temples, machinery and techniques. The Assyrians also established power with warfare. With their ironmaking skills, they were able to create the machinery. Assyrian kings organized and conquered territories effectively. Overall the Assyrians had many technological advancements that allowed them to go on the offensive and attack which resulted in the expansion of their empire.
The Persians contributed to communication and trade by easing it with a sophisticated system of roads linking between three continents, Africa, Asia and Europe. Also they created a govern system( which included the invention of taxes and human rights). This system became successful because there weren't many rebellions between the rulers and the people who were ruled.
