Green trees dress up our living environment. They are good for the eyes and provide shade. Forests account for 30 percent of the earth's total area and are mainly distributed in 10 countries: the United States, Canada, Russia, Brazil, China, Australia, the democratic republic of, Indonesia, Peru, and India. It sounds like the world's forests are abundant, but in fact, they are disappearing. Every year the earth loses about 13 million hectares of the forest-an area the size of Greece. With the increase of population and the demand of industry and agriculture, trees have to make room for construction and development. The amount of deforestation increases year by year. Why does the planting and cutting down trees affect human beings? We know that trees can provide people with wood, fuel, food, medicine, latex, and other daily necessities. Trees also affect the climate, not that they make snowfall on sunny days, but that their presence or absence can make a big difference. Weather and weather are not the same things.
