Hey everyone,

Attached to this email is journal prompt #1. Your response should be 1 1/2 to 2 pages in length, double spaced, 12 pt font, and written like an essay you'd write for an English class. If you use quotes/sources to back up your points, be sure to include a works cited/bibliography (which doesn't count as part of the 1 1/2 to 2 pages). Watch the two documentaries, write your response, print it out, and bring it to class this coming week. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to print it because I will not accept it via email. I know that you aren't film scholars, so if you get certain terms wrong, I'm usually OK with that, but be sure to check for grammatical and spelling errors which you can easily avoid. What I really want to be able to see is the time and effort you put into the writing and your thoughts on the subject.
