Integrated Final Paper Brief

· This is your final work for the course and incorporates all your learning. It is a published proof that you have learnt, understood, able to analyze and know how to apply concepts to a real life situation.

· Think of this report as a consulting project – presented to senior management.

· Paper Requirement:

· One 7 page report (Week 7).

· The paper is an absolute requirement. There is no exception. Non submission/non participation will earn a failing grade

· The paper:

· You will work in groups – while individuals may work on a part, the group will be responsible together, for the final integrated paper.

· In week 2, you will submit a detailed plan – indicating clusters/countries, times lines, responsibility matrix etc.

· Select a regional cluster – as discussed in the class/readings

· Needs professor’s approval and must have as many countries as members in the group

· The Integrated Project Paper must include the following (as applicable to the selected country (s)):

o Using the Porter model – what industries find the country attractive to set up businesses. Which kinds of multinational industries prosper in this country/region?

o Terrorism threats and level of security

o Is the country a global player – how? Think natural resources, skilled labor, low production costs etc.

o What kinds of influence(s) does the country have on Globalization – detail your perspective

o How does the country get impacted by various global forces – indicate what types of forces and whether positive and/or negative

o Going forward, what is the future perspective for the country(s)?Your integrated paper must be formatted based on the following:

1. Include relevant and appropriate content – as you learn through the chapters, readings and discussions.

2. Your work must flow logically, be detailed and reflect your knowledge of Globalization forces. I need to see specific topics that reflect to support your argument.

3. Spellcheck, grammar check and use proper formatting

4. Include complete list of citation sources – APA format. I want to see in text citation and a complete list at the end of the paper.
