We’ve read Josephina Lopez’ Real Women Have Curves. Choose one of the following questions to respond using examples from the play and/or movie (if you chose question 1) to support your assertions. Don’t use outside criticism. Our discussion will take place on the last day of class, Thursday, June 3rd, from 68 p.m. Everyone is required to participate and everyone will be graded on their response. If you do not participate, you must contact me via email as soon as possible since you must have a passing grade for each assignment.

1. We’ve said that from ancient Greek theatre, critics argued that each character has a hamartia (a tragic flaw). What do you think are the tragic flaws for Ana, Estela, and Carmen? Why?
