PROJECT OVERVIEW
The software developmental project involves individuals carrying out various steps for their newly application and lead to an effective outcome with creating a functional software program on technological devices. It allows individuals to develop their own application; in order to address and align with the goals, objectives or process in a business. This proposal details an information security software program known as Star Defender that was created for employees, partners and clients to focus on detecting, preventing or repairing technological issues such as defeating unauthorized users from gaining access to computerized systems, personal data and handling malware files or viruses; which has a significant impact on technology. Star Defender software program shields corporate data and technological devices from unwanted activity and guests. The software proposal outlines the plan that incorporates the distribution, expenses, goals, involving parties, milestones, obstacles, risks, training, terms and conditions with developing the completed project of an information security program. The purpose of developing an information security software program is assisting employees, other users with taking the necessary steps in defeating cyber-attacks, viruses and prevent illegal activities.
PURPOSE / GOALS
The purpose of developing a Star Defender information security software program is providing individuals effective security controls, practices and policies in the public environment. The Star Defender application program will ensure to colleagues, employees and clients that secures the availability, confidentiality and integrity of their information. Organizational data that’s documented and inputted in technological systems will be protected from unauthorized users threatening the state of a business.
The goals of a Star Defender security program is encouraging any availability of data for legal users, safeguard private information and maintain integrity of data in a public / work-setting. Star Defender will defeat cyber-attacks, prevent unauthorized users from compromising and stealing data on technological devices.
OBSTACLES
The following barriers of an information security software program includes:
· Creating vulnerabilities in the cyber infrastructure and reduce protection on technology
· Employees reluctant to establish a comprehensive plans, conduct effective oversight on data and technological systems
· Endangering federal / state technological systems and information by employees enforcing ineffective security measures and a strategy
· Lacking proper security measures on employees’ privacy and sensitive data
INDUSTRY / MARKET RISK FACTORS
The following risk factors with an information security software program that individuals face in the industry are:
· A large portion of malware on technological systems; which gives unauthorized users an opportunity access to spear phishing and steal sensitive information from businesses.
· Employees acting as insider threats; due to dishonorable actions in a business. These workers could intentionally remove, back-up sensitive data from an organizational system and trigger a major problem throughout the industry.
· Organizations having insufficient materials and resources to fully develop, implement a robust information security software program on technological devices that gives companies a competitive edge against its rivals in the market.

The following budgetary risk factors for an information security software program that individuals may encounter in their business are:
· Employees investing their own time to wait for authorization or the release of documentation to obtain the budget from a large-scale data breach and have a negative impact on its company.
· Organizations having a limit on their budget on projects and implementing an expensive information security software development program for technology. This could lead to a major setback and failure for a business.
· Security experts seeking resources from multiple sources causes difficulties in business; such as acquiring funds, equipment to cover the expenses and fulfill the needs to develop an information security software program.

Hardware compatibility assures to employees the devices and other products that has the capabilities to operate from a specific version in a system without modifying its equipment / materials. Star Defender information security software products effectively performs with an IOS, Microsoft Windows 8-10 versions for a technological system and device. Individuals will not have frequent occasions of errors and suspicious activities with Star Defender security software products. Star Defender software products is compatible with the listed operating systems above and perform in a smooth manner.
SOFTWARE EMPLOYED
Organizations have different types of software to install and utilize in their technological devices; including accounting, cloud, office suite, project management and security software. The software program employed in organizations for workers; give clients an opportunity to invest and utilize would be classified as an information security application to defeat cyber-attacks, detect suspicious activity and maintain a robust operating system throughout technologies.

OVERVIEW
A milestone is considered a significant point in time for individuals to assess the progress of a project and reaching their ultimate goal. These specific and significant points are utilized as signal posts for defining events, recording the length of time from the initial date to the actual deadline , determine any resources, needed for meeting the project expectations, goals and objectives. Milestones have a fixed date and give individuals a permanent time frame to gather resources and complete the necessary project tasks.
The following are milestones for the software development program in business, Star Defender would include constructing the full software design plan, hold monthly meetings with employees, partners and stakeholders to give a comprehensive examination on the project, making any final adjustments, decisions, conducting an implementation process towards the application, setting up and promoting a universal commercial for the software program.

The deployment of software consist of individuals conducting a process for making preparations to the application program; which assures that the software operates and run in a business environment. The deployment will have a sense of control and manageable on software in a simplistic manner. It will help individuals to monitor information from the software and the users actions on technologies.
The following software deployment process that individuals for implementing the Star Defender plan will involve individuals performing its work through automation systems and manually:
· Individuals conducting an installation process of software on technological devices to make sure its functioning without error, significant vulnerabilities and operating in a smooth manner
· The participating parties performing the standard configuration for Star Defender in order to define its elements, parameters, values through computerized systems and describe information on paper
· The team must test out the information security software application, Star Defender to ensure any expected / unexpected vulnerabilities, threats on technologies will not trigger a major loss for the company and impacting their relationship with clients
· Individuals must make any necessary modifications to the software program, have reassurance that the application will produce an optimal performance and effective results in order to properly execute the distribution process

Security Testing for applications and software systems is a valuable tool that professionals utilize to assure no detection from illegal activities, severe risk and vulnerabilities on technologies. It causes a major setback and failure for an organization.
The following security testing that individuals perform for the Star Defender software program consist of a variety assessments including:
· Risk assessment
· This type of assessment will permit individuals to perform an examination on security risk that’s closely monitored in a business. The classification of risk can be high, medium or low in technological devices. Star defender software programs sets up strong controls and measures that will contribute to the reduction of risk.
· Security scanning
· This type of test discovers network and vulnerable issues with operating system, provide assistance and solutions with minimizing threats in an organization. The Star Defender group involves experts to conduct security detections with a hands-on method and performing checks for technological threats with devices.
· Security auditing
· This type of assessment and inspection occurs in an internal part of a business. It detects security weaknesses with Star defender applications and operating systems. The audit will determine various application programs that’s complies with the inspection code / regulations.
· Vulnerability scanning
· This type of test will discover from a proper software scan flaws / weaknesses in a mechanical system. It will help defeat possible threats in technologies and regain strength to perform operations.

These type of requirements will help the software program to operate and identify technical constraints that needs to function under in technological systems. It’s significant for technical requirements to determine the higher-level operational requirements; due to breaking down requirements in a certain system.
· System Qualities
This type of document will define the quality of a software program in a system. It focuses on the availability, maintainability, scalability, serviceability, security and scalability for operational and technological systems. The qualities of systems is designed in table to report specific metrics that must be met within a business.

The software development project consists of experts and professionals that have comprehensive knowledge with assisting individuals on the installation process, usability of software, resolve technical issues for the Star Defender application program and performing remote trouble shooting in a technological system. This group will assure to individuals that technological systems extract possible threats, vulnerabilities and run operations in an effective manner.

The Star Defender project offers individuals on-site and online training to gain a solid understanding on the application program. It involves individuals documenting programming codes that’s closely related, maneuvering with software on technological devices to determine its proper elements and functions. The individuals participating in the Star Defender project will receive certification for meeting the necessary expectations and requirements.

PAYMENT TERMS
If you have a desire to purchase a software product, the proper payment methods will be cash or visa card. Installment payments are accepted to place item on hold for 3 consecutive days in a physical location. Online payments requires the full value for the software program. Individuals may be asked to provide certain information in the purchasing stage. Products could be limited for individuals on the online website.
The Star Defender software project payment must be given directly to the proper parties in its entirety to carry out the plan in a timely manner.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The terms and conditions for Star Defender software program is currently under construction. It will be provided to individuals through a hardcopy and electronic copy on the proper website. This documentation is considered a solid legal agreement between a client and service provider that plans on utilizing the software program. Clients must be in an agreement to comply with the terms, conditions and regulations; prior to providing the software product and performing services in business. Failure to abide to the terms and conditions, violating the agreement; such as copyrighting without consent and committing fraudulent acts could lead to a financial penalty or serving a jail sentence in the event.
