Data Analytics/Automation Paper

Because Alteryx does not work with Chromebooks, students can complete the below described paper for the same credit.

Students will write a short research paper on the technology tools of Data Analytics/Automation.

The paper should explore how Data Analytics/Automation is used in Business from the fields of Accounting/Auditing, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Management Information Systems, etc.

Explanation of the technology tools of Data Wrangling and Data Visualization should be included as well.

Paper Length: 10+ pages, Double Spaced.

The body of the Paper should be formatted as follows:

1. Font size and style: Times Roman, 12-point font size (black type) and double spaced

2. Margins: Top, Bottom, Left, and Right must be set at 1.00

3. Please left align your text/paragraphs

4. Sources/references used should be cited in APA format, which includes In-Text citations.

Please use at least three peer-reviewed sources from the library in addition to various periodicals and articles for the paper.

Please cite your sources in order to give credit to the original author and to avoid plagiarism (grade of “0”).

The Final paper MUST have the following Headings in the paper (this is mandatory):

· Introduction- Describe the topic you have selected so it is clear what you are analyzing. The current status of the topic should explained as well as what the paper will investigate.

· Purpose- What the research is about. It provides a focus for the writing.

· Literature review- Review the seminal works on the topic/issue you have selected. This includes past works as well as current ones. In your paper, you should first break down the theoretical origin of your theory (the “Theoretical Background”) and then examine articles testing the theory (the “Literature Review”).

· Conclusion/Recommendations- A brief summation of what your total paper investigated and/or the findings, and what possible recommendations you would make.

· Works Cited
