This course requires the development, revision, peer-review, and submission of a UAS research project, including both a written report and presentation. The written paper will require the following elements:
· Conceptual Overview
· submit conceptual overview in Module 2
· conduct peer review conceptual overviews in Module 3
· defend/respond to conceptual overview peer review in Module 4
· Rough Draft
· submit rough draft in Module 5
· conduct peer review rough draft in Module 6
· defend/respond to rough draft peer review in Module 7
· Final Paper - submit final paper in Module 8
· Final Presentation – submit final presentation in Module 9

For this project, start to consider an appropriate topic based on the major theme of problems or issues associated with UAS design, operations, or regulations. This project will require review of available literature to confirm the research topic is justifiable (i.e., needed), supportable, and within scope. Begin exploring current UAS literature (from within the last year) to identify major challenges or problems associated with the operation or application of UAS.
Submit your top three topic ideas (one to three sentences each), supported with appropriate reference citations (at least three each) to confirm and corroborate by the end of the module week.
In the following module, you will begin to prepare a research overview, using one of the three topics, based on instructor feedback.
