PMBOK Guide defines a project as “…a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result." PMBOK Guide also defines project management as “…the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to meet the project requirements." Discuss your understanding of the role of the project manager in terms of how projects and project management fit with the overall organizational strategy.
