Introduction
Wilbur and Orville Wright were inventors from America and are referred to as the
pioneers of aviation. In 1903, when the wright brothers discovered and controlled airplane flight
as if that was not enough, two years later, they assembled and flew the first fully real-world
airplane.
Early life
In 1867 Wilbur wright was born at Indiana, while Orville wright was born four years
later. Their father, a church bishop, would always bring them small toys for them to play with.
Neither of the two attended a college. The Wright brothers in 1889 started their newspaper, and
in 1892 they opened a bike shop, (Crouch, 2017)
Development of the airplane.
The Wright brothers developed the interests with flight after Lilienthal died in a crash.
The two brothers observed the birds as they angled their wings to be balanced, and they
attempted to copy. Wilbur and Orville come up with an idea known as wing wrapping. They then
added a movable rudder, and this made them have a unique formula in December when they
managed to fly the first flight, which was power-driven and well-controlled. Wilbur was the one
who flew it for 59 seconds. Their success was not appreciated by all, as the people did not
believe that they did it. In 1908, Wilbur went to Europe, hoping that he would convince people to
buy the airplanes, (Buchholz, 2017)

Fame
In France, the audience received Wilbur very well. While there, he made a quite number
of public flights, the officials were also ridden by him and politicians. Later, Orville and their
sister Katherine joined Wilbur in Europe, and they were celebrated as news Media featured them.
Years later, they started selling their airplanes in Europe and later in the United States, (Le Star,
2019)
Death
After being diagnosed with typhoid while traveling to Boston, Wilber fell ill and died on
April 30, 1912. Orville died later on January 30, 1948, after having a second heart attack.
Conclusion
The wright brothers though they became big celebrities they were rejected at some point.
Behind every success, there are a lot of struggles and untold tragedies.
