You are a freelance muckraker ( reporters who exposed corruption among politicians and the elite. They used investigative journalism and the print revolution to dig through “the muck” of the Gilded Age and report scandal and injustice) who just stumbled upon the story of that could make your career (Choose one: Pullman Strike, Haymarket Square Strike, Homestead Strike, Great Railroad Strike of 1877). Give the reader the inside scoop of the events of the strike, be sure to answer the fundamental news questions: who is involved, where is it taking place, what date(s) is it taking place over, what is going on, and why is it going on. Since you are on the scene, you interview those involved, so be sure to include direct quotes from at least one person who was involved in the strike (primary source).
