Executive Summary

Introduction

Since I have a been young my goal was to always work in the business field. I choose the business administration field for several reasons. One of the main reason I did chose business administration was first to understand all the aspects of business. I needed to learn first how to start a business plan then how to develop on top of that business plan. I have always wanted to be inside of a business world but I wanted to learn very aspect in business so that’s why I chose to do business administration. This degree has shown me so many other areas in business that I never even thought about such as the laws you need to follow in order to have the business keep running. I learned a large amount about marketing as well for business it goes way deeper than just showing a commercial on tv. There is a lot of planning behind putting a commercial together or an ad.

Description

A brief description of the classes that I took were marketing, human resources, Accounting, critical thinking, data analysis, Business management and entrepreneurial classes. Marketing has shown me how to understand how to consumer thinks and what attracts the customers. Human resources has shown me that there are a lot of keys such as managing a employees benefits and payroll and there sensitive information. Accounting was one of my favorite classes It showed me how to account for every dollar that goes in and out of a business. I learned how to use a general ledger and also how to do the accounting on excel as well. Critical thinking opened my eyes up to thinking outside the box. Everyone knows that people think differently but there can be a pattern which I learned from the class. Data analysis has shown me how to model data and inspect it as well. It also showed me how to find useful information inside of data. Business management was a great class as well it showed me how to run a business in a manger role and also as an owner of a business. There are a lot of things you have to look out for while you are a manager.

Conclusion

Overall the program has shown me a lot and the business world and I’m always willing to learn more. Now that I understand all the concepts in a business because of Business administration degree with a concertation in general business, I know that I will be an asset to any business because of all the great classes that have prepared me for the business world. I will continue my education as well and get my master’s in business administration.
