• It is known that in general, most people are unwilling to get involved in projects such as political campaigns, community improvement programs, and social movements for a variety of reasons.  
• So, first I would like you to write an introduction into WHY you think that is the case.  
• Next, you will identify a social problem that exists on your campus or in your community that you are interested in changing.  Now, formulate a plan to create a mock social movement to address this problem.  You should address things such as resources that are needed, communication methods, leadership, etc.  
• You will present your plan in written form to instructor, and in a short, oral presentation to the class.
