Assignment 1: Credibility of Sources
As we form our arguments, the responsibility for the veracity and integrity of our arguments is in our hands. Since the very core of the support for our arguments comes from our sources, a high degree of awareness is required when performing research. One or two sources that lack academic credibility can call into question our entire position.
For this discussion, by Saturday, May 30, 2015, after having reviewed this module’s lecture material, form two paragraphs of 5 to 7 sentences. In the first paragraph, reflect upon your efforts and process when deciding upon the suitability of source material for your paper. Think about and discuss how you decide which source materials are credible, and which ones do not meet the criteria for academic reliability. In the second paragraph, list one credible, academic source, and then list one that does not make the grade. Please use APA style reference page citations for this second paragraph.
