1) Perform a standard linear regression analysis using the above examples as a template. Be sure to give the appropriate statistical hypothesis, a scatter plot of the data and residuals with interpretations, and interpretations of the p-value and the coefficient of determination.

2) The residual plot will indicate that a non-linear model will improve the fit. Determine that appropriate transformation and redo the steps in part 1 using the transformed “y” data.
