PART 1 (1-2 PAGE PAPER)

Construct a purpose statement that identifies the problem or issue, the population, the geographic location, the proposed solution(s) to the problem and the estimated outcome of the solution. Use citations and documentation of related solutions to similar problems within your field of study.

Support your paper with a minimum of four (4) scholarly resources in addition to the required readings. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Length: 1-2 pages not including title and reference pages

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.

PART 2: (12-15 SLIDE POWERPOINT PRESENTATION) - NEEDS TO BE SEPARATE FROM PART 1 ABOVE

Create a PowerPoint proposal that you would present to the Board of Directors of an organization within your selected industry that summarizes the high points for your study and includes an explanation of the problem and purpose statement. What would be gained if leadership of the organization agreed to partake in your research?

Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as “speaker notes” for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.

Support your presentation with at least three (3) additional scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included. Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style where appropriate.

Length: 12-15 slides (with a separate reference slide)
Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide
