The EURO (€), was introduced as the official currency of the European Union (EU) on January 1, 1999 and launched as ‘legal’ tender January 1, 2002. To date, it is the official currency of 18 member states (aka EUROZONE) and pegged to other currencies used by over 210 million people worldwide.

●What is the Eurozone Crisis?
● What measures have been used/suggested to resolve the crisis?

● What are the effects of the measures implemented?
