write on paper

Attached is the reading assignment that I would like you to read by Monday's class, Oct. 3.

As you read it, I want you to write down, on paper, any words, ideas, or historical references you do not understand clearly. Even if you look them up and find the answers to these questions while reading (which would be a really good, logical thing to do), I still want you to make the list on paper of the items that were not clear to you when you first read this short assignment.

This file which contains the reading will also be posted in the Course "Files" section.

Feel free to print out the reading if you want to, as well.
