Start with what you have already reflected on - which general education skills are most important for your success?

       I think all general education skills are critical for my job success. In business management I would use my oral communication skills to direct my personnel, hire personnel, discipline my personnel, and any other kind of communication of a task with my personnel. This would include meetings, reports to higher up individuals and feedback to the employees below me. I would also be able to use my written communication skills to write reports, annual reviews on employees, goal/milestone charts or any other aspect of written communication in my position. Information literacy skills that I have acquired would allow me to get the right information to do my job, give the right information to my personnel and evaluate any information given to me. My critical thinking skills will allow me to deal with any issues between personnel, any issues with goals and any unforeseen problems that we did not access for. Diversity skills will allow for me to successfully work with my diverse team and issues I would come across in the workplace and on tasks. 

Then, consider your personal strengths and weaknesses. Just as some of the weaknesses you had when you first enrolled may have improved during your time at the College, consider how you will be able to improve your remaining weaknesses. For example, say your written communication is an area of weakness. Consider ways you can improve that general education skills while working in your career field, and how that improvement can translate to better job performance.
