wk2
Specifications:
Each student is responsible for presenting to the class specific chapters assigned at the beginning of the
semester.
1. Provide a general summary of the events and concepts addressed in your assigned chapters.
2. After providing the summary, offer the class one question for open discussion. It is your
responsibility to moderate the class discussion during this time. You may wish to have more
than one question ready.
Suggested Reading Schedule:
Week 1: Chapters 1-5
Week 2: Chapters 6-12
Week 3: Chapters 13-18
Week 4: Chapters 19-23
Week 5: Chapters 24-28
Week 6: Chapters 29-32
Week 7: Chapters 33-37
Expectations:
Students are required to read the entire novel, not only the chapters assigned for discussion, BEFORE
class the day of the discussion. There is no specific time limit for your summary and discussion, but it is
better to keep it brief and concise. It is important that you are satisfied with the portion of the classroom
discussion related to your question.
Deliverables:
The class discussion will take place on
August 2, 2016. Attendance and participation are required. Failure
to attend class will result in a zero (0) grade for the
Bluebeard presentation.
