who want to welcome my peers to first day of class? 100 words

My name is Lydia Mulcare Harris.  I am a wife and mother of three children. I often say children but in reality they are 25, 22 and the youngest 20. They are all in college. My hobbies are cooking, reading and volunteering. I live in the US Virgin Islands on the beautiful island of St. Thomas. It is very hot on this tropical place. We rely on Tourism as one of the ways we boost our economy. This place is awesome and would recommend everyone visit someday.

 Presently I am a teacher at a private school.  I teach the 1 and 2 grade level. I am doing my course in Early Childhood Education with Ashford. I am taking this course as part of the requirement to my degree. I am excited to learn about challenges child faced and how to deal with their situation. English language has never been an issue to me. I can speak two different languages. The other one that I speak is French Creole. I do have at least two children who are Hispanics and they had a language barrier. Today with a lot of hard work I got them to the level of reading and understanding the English Language. This course will help me teach team, understand them and broaden my knowledge.
