WHo a Volunteer ?
THIS IS WHERE I VOLUNTEER AND SOME OF THE THINGS I DID PLEASE TAKE NOTE. ( THE PAPER NEED TO BE WRITTEN BASE ON THE THINGS I DID BELOW)
I have always wanted to volunteer but I have never taken the time, out of my busy schedule until this class. I took the time and research volunteer sites and I fill out the paper work, and that was a process.
On November 28th, 2016, I went to Bryan Elementary to volunteer and help inform lower economic students about health, fitness and nutrition. I started my day in the physical education activity room with Mr. Wall the teacher. We taught three different classes and I helped Mr. Wall with the lesson for the day. During the lesson there was a discussion period, where I talked to the students about healthy food choices in the area and fitness ideas they can do outside of school.
In the discussions I gave a students location of local farmers markets and their area plus, I also gave them recipes of my own, like my worlds famous chicken and rice. Meeting with the students from Bryan Elementary was a great experience. I am truly inspired to continue my volunteering at other local schools.
In the future I would like to have the opportunity to give simple cooking classes to students to show them how easy eating healthy can be prepared and how flavorfully healthy food can taste.

Analyze your volunteer experience by writing a 1,000-1,250 word reflection focused on your volunteer experience. Examine how volunteering enabled you to practice the principles of servant leadership. Reference and address the following in the paper.
1 Summarize your servant leadership volunteer opportunity by sharing the who, what, when, where, why, and how of the experience.
2 Which of Greenleaf's principles of servant leadership did you implement and learn the most about through completing the servant leadership experience? Provide examples in your discussion.

4 Use examples from your servant leadership volunteer opportunity to discuss the idea that serving others as a leader might influence change or produce a positive impact for the greater good.
5 Think about your personal leadership skills and style and discuss what your learned about yourself as a servant leader from completing the volunteer opportunity.
