Porter’s Five Forces Model is a “classic model” that is still relevant for today’s management. Please refer to page 36 and 37 in Peng’s 3rd edition textbook. This is primarily an industry-based view toward competition. It can be used to support competitive decisions facing managers of domestic and international organizations.

Briefly apply this model to your organization or an organization that you are familiar with. What are the most critical factor or factors in your opinion and why?
