Healthcare expenditures have a tremendous impact on the cost of healthcare services, yet how do we measure the value or ROI of healthcare expenditures?  The answer to this question depends on who you ask.  A physician, CFO and a patient will all have different answers. 

Using examples from your textbook and from your own research into value and cost in healthcare, identify why healthcare costs are so high per capita in the U.S. and your suggestion(s) for how to control these costs.
