Week 6 PowerPoint
For this week's assignment, you will be making a PowerPoint presentation based upon the DoD Cyber Strategy document from the outside readings.
You should prepare this presentation as if you actually were going to present it. The audience for your presentation should be members of the general public – as if you were going to make a presentation at a local library or civic event. In other words, don't assume your audience knows much, but also assume they aren't completely in the dark (if they were, they wouldn't bother to come to the presentation!).
Slide 1 will be the title of the presentation (again, the presentation should be created for a real audience, so the title shouldn't be something like “Week 6 Assignment”!).
Slides 2 through 7 will each cover a separate topic from the report. Each slide must have a title and at least three bullet points below the title.
Slide 2 will cover the topic in the section titled “Key Cyber Threats” on page 9.
Slide 3 will cover the topic in the section titled “Malware Proliferation” that starts on the bottom of page 9.
Slide 4 will cover the topic in the section titled “Risk to DoD Networks and Infrastructure” on page 10.
NOTE: These first three slides generally define the problem. The next three slides will describe the role of the DoD in addressing the problem.
Slides 5-7 will cover the “Three Primary Missions in Cyberspace” found on pages 4 through 6. One slide per mission. Note that in the document, the description of each mission begins with bold face text that says “First”, “Second”, or “Third”.
Each bullet point on your slides should concisely capture one point from the document. They need not be full sentences, and in any case, they should not be more than one full sentence. The goal is not to write out your entire presentation, but to have concise statements for each bullet point.
This is intended to be a professional presentation. There's not much text to write, so there should be no errors at all. You will lose credit for typos, misspellings, etc.
