Week 5 Literary Analysis Research Paper: PART IV Revising and Submitting Your Paper

In this part of the Literary Analysis Research project, you will revise your paper carefully and submit it for the final grade in the course.

DAYS 4 AND 5 (final draft earns 20 points; note that the whole project, from Day 1-5, earns 50 points, so take care with all of the components of this project!):

Revise your paper by proofreading it carefully and re-reading it for meaning. It can really help to read your paper aloud to someone else or, even better, have someone else read the paper aloud to you! When you reach awkward spots, think: how would someone REALLY say this? Then try to write it as simply and directly as possible. Use the following aids to revision:

• Review the Literary Analysis Research Paper instructions.
• Review the Literary Analysis Paper Rubric (find it under Grading Rubrics in the Course Resources section of the title page for this course).
• Review the feedback provided by your peer review group members and use it to prepare your final draft.
