Lesson Plan Part 2: Strategies for Direct and Indirect Instruction

Building on Lesson Plan Part I, write a 4-6 page paper in which you:

1. Revise criteria 1-5 of the Lesson Plan Part 1 (revision based on instructor’s recommendations and/or own decisions).
2. Describe the students (total in class, grade level and ages, knowledge of content area, cultural diversity, gender mix, learning styles, and affective needs).
3. Describe and explain reasons for the selection of three to four (3-4) direct instruction strategies and align them with one (1) or more of your stated objectives and needs of students.
4. Describe and explain reasons for the selection of three to four (3-4) indirect instruction strategies and align them with one (1) or more of your stated objectives and needs of students.
