This week’s required readings discuss the unique situations that lead to victimization at work and at school. Victimization has an immediate impact on the victim, however, it can also have residual personal and economic impact on an individual, communal, and societal level.

In your initial post

• Discuss school and workplace victimization. 
• Define the specific types of victimization, the characteristics of victims, risk factors, consequences, and methods used to address the abuse.
• Explain how victims may contribute to their victimization. 
• Critique the criminal justice system’s response to victims of school and workplace violence.
