What Is Education?

You have spent the first three weeks of this course reading scenarios involving authentic teachers in real-life educational settings; and this week, you viewed a film about teaching and education, which is based on a true story.

Now, take time to go back to a few of the scenarios that stand out in your mind and a few of the scenes in the film that held the most meaning for you. Consider the new insights and knowledge that you have gained about children, education, and teaching.
