It Was Just a Joke

It is not unusual at work for individuals to make inappropriate jokes. Consider that somebody (a colleague) comes up to you and offers to tell you a joke. You expect that it may be inappropriate. How would you respond? What might you do differently if they just tell the joke and don’t ask your permission? What are your criteria for determining whether a comment or joke is appropriate or inappropriate? Be sure to speak to the ethical implications of this behavior. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings no later than Day 7.
