I am currently undertaking an externship under my employer "Third Creek Dentistry". I am responsible for collecting delinquent accounts. My position is that of a collection officer. I am expected to contact debtors through phone and determine their ability as well as willingness to pay the money owed to the company. I am also responsible for obtaining of the payments, and also, I can renegotiate the payment schedule with a delinquent debtor.
