Week 2 DISCUSSION
QueenofQuestionYou have worked for Dr. Jones for three years. The practice is doing well but has not
generated increased profits in the last two years. Dr. Jones has been talking to another
doctor about joining the practice. Dr. Jones comes to you and asks you to do a pro forma for
the next year with two physicians and tells you to "make it look good." In addition to adding
the new physician, he also encourages you to add other services that would make the
bottom line look good.
What do you do? What other services can you propose?
