Introduce yourself to your peers. Let them know what experiences you have had with non-profit organizations. Are you employed by one now? Is there a particular type of non-profit that you hope to work with some day? Will you be interning with one? Also discuss what experience you have had creating sustainable funding for a non-profit organization. Think you haven’t had any? How about when you sold Girl Scout cookies? Or when you sold raffle tickets to fund your school band trip to Disney World? Were you successful? Why or why not?
