When you examine the duties and responsibilities of a HR specialist then it may be advantageous to be very practical with this discussion. If you are in HR already then explain the duties and responsibilities but if you are not part of HR then connect with someone who may be in HR. You can do this in person or through a social media outlet (i.e., Linkedin). It's also good to review videos on HR specialist and you tube videos as well as other sources could assist as well. Then, make sure you explain their contribution to the overall organization especially strategically.
 
Remember, it's important to think strategically in this course and how HR is an important role to the overall business vision and mission
