Website Development Process

Describe the steps in the website development process, using either the process outlined in the textbook or a different one you may find through research on the Web. Does every web developer follow the same process, or are there differences? If there are differences, why might they exist? Which steps should be performed for every website project, and which steps might be skipped or modified for certain types of sites?
