Video Case: China

This video case addresses important contemporary aspects of a giant international retail corporation, Wal-Mart, and its strategies when doing business in China.  Watch the video, learn a bit about modern Shanghai, and address the following topics with an APA research paper.

• What were some of the reasons behind Wal-mart’s entry into the Chinese market?
• What advantages has Wal-Mart gained by forming joint partnerships with Chinese developers?  (For more information on this, read Mini case12.1 on page 395 of your text.)
• Why do you think Wal-mart sees China as its best bet for repeating the success it has achieved in America?

Make sure to find at least two outside sources (other than the two videos) with related information and cite the references in APA format. Your paper should have at least two full pages written in APA format, not counting the cover and the reference page. Use double-spacing, one-inch margins and font size 12 Times New Roman.  Please use Microsoft Word for your assignment.
