Victim Policy

Policies that arose from the Victims’ Rights Movement improved the treatment of victims throughout the criminal justice process, but are any of those policies effective for crime control?

Required: Describe and define any policies you discuss. Pick a position and support your position by referring to the readings and/or notes (upload)!! The readings and notes are attached. (One File contains 2 lecture notes)  Must use!!

Postion Paper Criteria:

Writing a position paper involves a taking side on a particular topic. Each prompt for the position papers asks students to take a side on a criminal justice policy. You should clearly state their position on the policy and then present an argument that justifies their position. Your argument should be supported by referencing the class lectures/notes and/or readings.
