Write a 2 to 3 page essay addressing the Trolley problem that answers the following questions:  

In terms utilitarian ethics, (1) what do you think should be done in the famous Trolley Problem and why?  (2) Do you think the utilitarian choice for the greater good is justified here?  But what does the greater good mean to you?  (3) Imagine a similar Trolley scenario but where choosing to let the 5 be killed over the one would be the better choice for the greater good or some other reason and explain.  (4) Why do you think the fat man on the bridge version of the Trolley problem is a much harder choice even though it’s still a choice between killing one over killing five?
