Using PERT in Scheduling Projects 

PERT is a scheduling system that is widely used in businesses to help organize and control the completion of a major project.  Table 1 lists the tasks, the time required to complete the tasks of the assembly of a particular product in the SmartView company, and the dependency among these tasks.

Using table 1:

1. Choose the graph that is the closest to the table.
   
   
2. In your selected chart, list all possible paths and determine the total completion time of each path.
3. In your selected chart, determine the critical path and the earliest time needed to complete all tasks on the critical path.
4. In your selected chart, determine a critical path for task D.
