Summarize three of the subsections within section 6.5.1. Why did you choose the three subsections you summarized? What was most significant about their content? The authors indicate a mean volume of 4.2x10⁶ μm³ for a single alveolus. Please verify (or disprove) this number, using another source (and provide the reference). If the mean volume of 4.2x10⁶ μm³ is correct, and the volume can be approximated in the shape of a cube, what is the length of the side of the cube?
