Design principles help artists organize their artwork.Describe how the principles of design are similar to the way we accomplish order in our daily lives. For example, you could relate rhythm to the things you pass on your way to work. Make sure you describe how you use most or all of the ones in Chapter 4: Unity and variety, balance, emphasis, directional forces, contrast, repetition and rhythm, and scale and proportion.
