a. The potential impact to production, sales, and reputation of the company.

b. If you were tasked to prepare an audit protocol to ensure senior management about the integrity of the supply chain, who would you audit and what elements would you audit them for?

c. What are the advantages and disadvantages of duel sourcing (two suppliers) for each raw material?

2. Many companies are making green claims about their products and services. A company has hired you to help them to assess the value to their brand and reputation by getting hazardous and toxic components out of their products. Compare two products in the marketplace – one that makes green claims and one that does not.

b. What will it take for green products to become main stream and not remain in a niche?

c. Does the fact that the U.S. does not have a national body that oversees green certifications make U.S. products less competitive in global markets? Why?
