Exploratory Paper
The Exploratory Paper is the culmination of the Mini Project assignments. Utilizing the topic you selected, the annotated bibliography, the reference page, and the title page, complete your Exploratory Paper. Remember that the goal of the Exploratory Paper is to examine a topic, gather information, and share that information with readers. BCJ 4601, Criminal Justice Current Topics 5
In addition, the exploratory paper should include the following three parts:
1. Introduction: The introduction should provide a brief introduction of your topic as well as the goal, as developed in the Unit I Mini Project assignment.
2. Body paragraphs: The body paragraphs should discuss the examination you made regarding the topic including:
a. Important information you found in the source regarding your problem (articles/books).
b. Why the information is important.
3. Conclusion: The conclusion should restate the topic you explored, your goal, and whether or not you were able to meet that goal utilizing your sources.
This paper will use APA formatting. The Exploratory Paper should contain a minimum of seven (7) content pages, not counting the title page, abstract, or references. The Exploratory Paper is due in Unit VIII.
