For example, a voice conversation or a video require real-time, sequential delivery and, so the reasoning goes, should therefore receive a higher priority than text and data packets. Advocates of “network neutrality” argue that packet contents belong to the user, and the service provider need not examine packet contents to provide “Quality of Service” (QOS). In a world with unlimited bandwidth, end-to-end, the network neutrality argument is compelling. What do you think about network neutrality in the real world?
