“He/she has a very logical mind- very well suited for studies of science.” Why does such a statement so often heard when guiding a son or daughter to university does not really make sense? Would intuition be a better guide? Discuss.

 2.Why don’t we all have the right to judge science and scientists? Why it looks easier to judge a big city mayor than a local pharmacist?

Most people feel qualified to make political judgements, debate artistic values or athletic ability but when it comes to science- even science editors can become shy. And so, only scientists are left to judge science and other scientists. Is this really fair?

Combine both essays into one file and save your file as "Last name, First name PHYSP20". Make sure you include your name in the file itself as well. Upload your assignment in Word format. Max 1000 words per essay(Min 800).
