Elder_Dre1. According to Nietzsche's Madman, "God is dead." Briefly explain this claim in light of Nietzsche's critique of Christian morality. Do you tend to agree or disagree? Why?
2. Kierkegaard, despite being a Christian, claimed that a pagan who prays passionately to a false god is more of a saint than a Christian who prays to the Christian God without passion. If Kierkegaard is right, what does this imply about the nature of religious faith? Do you think Kierkegaard is right about this? Why or why not? Be sure to relate your answer to the claim that "truth is subjectivity."
