Three-page Essay: Kyle Baker’s Nat Turner and race identity

The essay will focus on a specific theme (silence, trickster figure, cultural integrity, historical accuracy, etc.) in Kyle Baker’s Nat Turner. In it you will be asked to address both the creative aspects of Baker’s narrative as well as the ways in which he portrays race identity.
